St Chad’s Parish Church Poulton-le-Fylde A Big Thank You   from the Christian Aid Group to all the volunteers who made a sterling effort throughout the parish by undertaking the ‘Door to Door’ collection during Christian Aid Week.   Fortunately we had fine warm evenings for all the collecting.  The envelopes are now in the process of being opened and counted as the magazine goes to press so the total collected will be published next month.     The Coffee Morning at St. Chad’s was well attended with a very busy atmosphere throughout and so was a great success.  The total amount raised was £784.72, a record! A remarkable achievement in these constrained times. Thank you to all the helpers and stallholders and to those people who donated cakes, raffle prizes and plants so enabling all the stalls to be well stocked.      The Quiz and Chips Evening, organised by Slav Baron of English Martyrs church, was well attended by friends from all denominations.  After a satisfying ‘Fish& Chip Supper’ we all enjoyed a fun quiz evening, won by the team “Andy Knows Best”. It raised £114 for Christian Aid.
