St Chad’s Parish Church Poulton-le-Fylde Proposed Visit to the South Tyrol, Italy - September 2010   Following on from the recent visit of Pastor Ralf Ohainski to our parish in September, it was proposed that a joint holiday should be arranged for members of our parish, together with members of the parish in Flöthe, to visit the Lutheran House in the South Tyrol. This is where the young confirmation candidates, from the Braunschweig Diocese, go for their summer holiday. The house is similar to Rydal Hall in some respects and will be a comfortable base for us with full board accommodation in double/twin rooms, with some ensuite. For us there will be a full programme of visits and walking activities to suit all levels of fitness and ability.   The date, to be confirmed, is the first full week in September. We would probably fly from Liverpool to Innsbruck and then transfer by train into the Tyrol to be picked up by minibus for the last journey to the Chalet. The cost for flight and full board accommodation is estimated to be between £400 and £450.   If at this stage you would be interested in forming a group of travellers from our Joint Benefice of Poulton, Carleton and Singleton, would you please give me a ring, on 886143, and then we can go ahead with firming up the arrangements.
