Revd Carol Wilkinson Carol has recently decided, with the support and approval of the Bishop, to take a six month sabbatical from her ministry as an NSM in the Benefice of Poulton, Carleton and Singleton with effect from the end of September. Carol will use the time to undertake a study of the Healing Ministry, to which she feels a particular calling. As well as being an academic exercise, this will also be a time of personal reflection for Carol, as she seeks God’s will for her future. Although Carol has primarily been leading worship at St Anne’s, Singleton over the last few months, I’m sure she would very much value your prayers as she seeks to explore her vocation and the gifts of the Spirit which God has given her. |

Parade Services and Hog Roast As the school and young peoples groups do not begin properly until the second week of September, there will not be a parade Service on September 7th.
On Sunday 14th September we will be holding a Hog Roast in the Vicarage Garden (or the Church Hall in the event of bad weather). We hope for a good turn out from across the age range so look out for tickets which should be available during the second half of August. |
