Illumathon in support of Trinity Hospice - Ladies walk the lights fantastic
On Saturday Sept 6th 2008 I am taking part in the very first midnight half marathon walk through the illuminations starting at midnight from Red Bank Road to Starr Gate and back. If anyone would like to sponsor me you can log onto www.justgiving.com/juliestansfield1 or see me in church.
My Auntie Jen died in the Trinity Hospice 11 years ago and when Charlie was diagnosed with cancer Brian House was the first to contact us and still invites the family to events so I feel its the least I can do to give something back to them - all monies goes to the whole of the Trinity Palliative Care. Carleton Then and Now
The launch of Catherine Rothwell’s book ‘Carleton Then and Now’ has changed venue from St Martin’s and St Hilda’s Hall to Carleton News – the newsagents shop opposite the Castle Gardens. The date remains the same - Saturday 13th September between 10 am and 12 noon.
