In the 2011 awards, Poulton gained a ‘Silver Gilt’ in the RHS North West in Bloom “Town Category.”

 

A Silver Gilt is achieved by gaining 75 – 84% of the 200 marks allocated for three sections:

s Horticultural achievement

s Environmental responsibility

s Community participation
